MOSCOW, Feb 5 (PRIME) -- The outbreak of a new type of coronavirus has not disrupted delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Yamal LNG to Asia, a spokesperson for independent gas producer Novatek told PRIME on Wednesday.
“Handling of products from the Yamal LNG is going on as scheduled and in accordance with the signed contracts, including supplies in the Asian direction. All sides are fulfilling their obligations dutifully,” the person said.
On Tuesday, the Financial Times reported quoting sources that Chinese importers of LNG were considering announcing a force majeure and suspending contracts due to the coronavirus.
